Policy
Student Drop-off:
Parents may drop off students during scheduled class hours. Please ensure that students are picked up promptly before closing time.
Waiting Area:
Non-students must keep noise to a minimum in the waiting area during sessions to avoid distracting students. If noise levels become disruptive, you may be asked to step outside the classroom until the lesson is over.
Sitting In:
Parents are welcome to observe lessons.
Restroom:
Children will be assisted in the restroom as needed.
Safety:
Parents must supervise their children for safety. PIAMISTRY is not liable for any incidents. CPR-certified staff and emergency medical technicians are available.
Security:
Doors will be locked during late classroom hours.
Fire:
PIAMISTRY adheres to WaterMark Place safety systems.
Lost & Found:
Report and reclaim missing items from the designated area.
Tuition / Registration:
Payment is due at the time of class. Online registration is available with no contract. Discounts apply to additional family members.
Class Scheduling:
Schedule lessons preferably a week in advance online.
Class Rescheduling / Cancellations:
Makeup lessons are offered for cancellations with prior notice. A cancellation fee applies.
In-Home Lesson:
In-home sessions are available for an additional fee.
Holiday, Breaks:
Exceptions apply for school breaks and holidays.
Weather:
Closure decisions are based on safety. Parents will be notified of closures.
Student Illness:
Students showing signs of illness should reschedule their classes.
Attendance:
Regular attendance is crucial for progress. Re-registration may be required after 3 months of absence.
Classroom Etiquette:
Respectful behavior is expected. Confidentiality is maintained.
Cleanliness:
A clean environment is maintained for health and safety.
Nails:
Short nails are required for piano playing.
Respect:
Bullying or harassment is not tolerated.
No Discrimination:
PIAMISTRY admits students without discrimination.
Zero-Tolerance:
Bullying results in suspension.
Forgiveness Policy:
Disputes are resolved with a mediator.
Discontinuance:
Repeated misconduct leads to suspension.

Accommodations are made for all students.
Practicing:
Regular practice is encouraged.
Participation:
Active involvement is key to success.
Assignment:
Students must bring all materials to class.
